Edgerton Conference Subsidies

Description

Through the generosity of the Edgerton Foundation, TCG is thrilled to offer conference subsidies to playwrights whose work has been supported by the Edgerton Foundation’s New American Play Awards. Forty playwrights will each receive up to $1,000 in reimbursements for travel and lodging. In conjunction with this opportunity, TCG is offering a special registration rate of $125 for all Edgerton Foundation awardees. This covers all conference sessions, coffee breaks, an opening night reception and lunch on two of the days.

The Edgerton Foundation

The Edgerton Foundation, directed by Brad and Louise Edgerton, gives plays in development an extended rehearsal period for the entire creative team, including the playwrights. Launched in 2007, the foundation has awarded 130 plays, to date. Forty eight plays have gone on or been scheduled to have subsequent productions following their world premieres.
