Engagement Tracks + Giving Circles = Come backstage with TCG
The Society for the American Theatre is a newly formed leadership giving society that provides individuals with an inside look at the work of TCG and our national theatre field. 1. Select an Engagement Track:
Engagement tracks are our way of involving you in the things you want to be involved in. Please select an engagement track for this initial phase of the program. We ask that you only select one at this time. Remember you can always change tracks next year!
Track One: LEAD!
TCG harnesses the knowledge of our theatre members for the benefit of the collective whole, providing a sense of field-wide identity. This track provides you with insider information on TCG convenings; national training opportunities; field wide surveys and research; grantmaking and direct support of theatre practitioners; career development for artists and administrators; and international exchanges.
Track Two: PUBLISH!
TCG is the nation’s largest independent trade publisher of dramatic literature, with ten Pulitzer Prizes and a booklist that is entirely in print. TCG Books has published the work of more than 250 playwrights and other theatre professionals, and sold over 2 million books. This track provides insider information on TCG publications such as the 14-18 new titles we publish each year, AMERICAN THEATRE magazine, ARTSEARCH and other special editions.
