TCG Regional Funder Award

The TCG Regional Funder Award recognizes a local funding organization that has evidenced leadership and has provided sustained outstanding support of theatre(s) in the region in which the conference is being held. This award honors a funder in a different region each time it is given, as the conference location rotates.

The 2006 award will honor a funder based in the Southeastern region of the United States.

Previous recipients of this award include the Jerome Foundation in St. Paul, Minnesota (awarded at the Milwaukee conference), and ArtsFund in Seattle.

The 2006 Recipient of the TCG Regional Funder Award was the Metropolitan Atlanta Arts Fund.

The Metropolitan Atlanta Arts Fund is an endowment made up of contributions from individual, corporate, government, and foundation donors. Income from the endowment is used to make grants to small and mid-sized arts organizations throughout the 23-county Metro Atlanta region.
