2009 TCG National Conference - Artist Scholarship Nomination
TCG is committed to encouraging artist involvement at this year’s conference. Thanks to funding recently supplied by the National Endowment for the Arts, we are able to provide registration fees for up to ten independant theatre artists who would not otherwise be able to attend the convention.
Deadline to apply: May, 4, 2009. Notification after May 5, 2009.
Recipients of conference scholarships must:
1. Be an unaffiliated individual artist
2. Agree to participate in the entire conference from June 4-6.
3. Nominated by a TCG member theatre no later than May 4, 2009.
To nominate an artist please send an e-mail to conf_scholarship@tcg.org and include the the following information (incomplete nominations will not be considered):
- Name
- Discipline (actor, designer, writer, etc.)
- Address
- City/State/Zip
- Contact number
- E-mail address
- Attach a current one-page bio or resume of the artist
- Please answer the following questions:- What would the nominee contribute to the conversation at the TCG National Conference?
- What role do you see the nominee playing in the future of the American theatre?
