Midway Airport:
By car: Take I-55 N/Stevenson Expy to exit 292A, I-90W/I-94W toward W. Ryan Expy/Wisconsin. Take exit 51H, I-290 W toward W Elsenhower Expy/W Suburbs. Keep right at the fork and follow signs for Congress Pkwy. Turn left at S State Street and right on E Monroe, the hotel will be on your right. 11.9 miles - 16 minutes (up to 30 minutes in traffic).
Public transportation: Orange Line from Midway to downtown. Get off at the Adams/Wabash stop. The Palmer House is located on the west side of Wabash Avenue.
O'Hare International Airport:
By Car: Take I-190 E. to exit 51l, Congress Pkwy. Turn left at S State St. and then right on E Monroe, the hotel will be on your right. 19.1 miles - 25 minutes (up to 45 minutes in traffic).
Public transportation: Blue Line train to Monroe/Dearborn stop. Take Monroe east to the hotel. The Palmer House is on the south side of the street.
