While it is commonly assumed that strategic alliances always involve mergers, there are many options that not-for-profits can use to develop partnerships to help them achieve mutual goals. Mergers and alliances are powerful leadership tools that can greatly support common mission by building organizational strength. Participants will learn how to use a nationally-recognized framework to decide what type of collaboration to pursue, and they will be better equipped to discuss options for collaboration with other not-for-profits.
