Both deal with cultivating audiences and relate to the morning’s economic theme.

A messaging session facilitated by Michael Maso (managing director, Huntington Theatre Company), which will help theatres articulate their value to all of their stakeholders (funders, elected officials, audiences and the community, and specifically to those who can help theatres maintain their tax-exempt status).

A panel discussion on the ongoing changes in cultural reporting and journalism with Leonard Jacobs, first-string critic for the New York Press and author of the blog The Clyde Fitch Report; Frank Rizzo, arts reporter for the Hartford Courant, Variety, American Theatre Magazine and other periodicals; and Dan Shelley, executive editor of Digital Media for WCBS-TV and WCBSTV.com. Moderated by Kelly Ryman (director of marketing and public relations, George Street Playhouse).
