In honor of World Theatre Day’s 50th Anniversary, Theatre Communications Group, the home to the U.S. Center of the International Theatre Institute, invites you to demonstrate the vitality of international theatre today by participating in the I AM THEATRE project.

I AM THEATRE captures pivotal moments in the lives of theatre-makers in an online video series, raising awareness for the theatre field and championing the diverse group of people who are creating, supporting, and engaging with theatre.

We want to hear YOUR stories, and stories of theatre-makers in your countries and communities. With your help, we can say I AM THEATRE together, in as many languages as possible, testifying to the global reach of our theatre movement.

Here's how it works:

                       1. Visit the I AM THEATRE website to learn how to submit your video, and watch
those made from others around the world—you may read additional instructions here.

                       2. Record your story in English or your own language using an iPhone, FlipCam
or video camera, then visit the TCG website to submit your video. We will review
your submission and post it on the I AM THEATRE YouTube channel.

Click here to learn more about the project, and here to see the growing number of submitted videos.
