"Red Hook, NY"

From A View from the Bridge, by Arthur Miller, at the Roundabout Theatre Company (New York City), 1998. Directed by Michael Mayer.

"This cue, consisting of only source material, was heard after the lawyer's opening monologue. It introduced the 30-member cast as they moved throughout the audience. It was a 'surround sound' experience, various elements coming from multiple sources; the subway train heard near the end 'traveled' around the house. The final music of the collage located us back on stage for the first scene." —Mark Bennett
