ADVOCACY NEWS FROM THE AMERICAN ARTS ALLIANCE AND TCG
ArtsVote Action Center Launched
ArtsVote, an initiative designed to impact the 2008 presidential race, has recently been launched. The ArtsVote Action Center is an advocacy tool connecting arts advocates to the presidential candidates. Using the Action Center to target the presidential candidates will allow arts advocates from across the country to send a customized message to each of the candidates.
Action: Visit the ArtsVote website to contact presidential candidates and tell them you support the arts.

October is National Arts and Humanities Month (NAHM)—our opportunity to recognize and celebrate the positive impact the arts bring to our schools and communities. Please join other arts leaders and supporters across the county by planning activities to showcase the arts in your area.
Action: Visit the Americans for the Arts website for more information on NAHM or to obtain a NAHM toolkit.
