A New Model for Professional Development: Continuous Improvement

Assessment results can be used to plan for the professional development of theatre education staff. In fact, changing education programming with solid assessment results is a very powerful way to organize meaningful professional development opportunities. Ongoing professional development that is supported by continuous feedback from assessment results is the new model for keeping up with the progress of your program, the discipline of theatre and the field of education.

TEAM Video Footage Now Available

Take a look at this video on theatre education assessment from TCG's pre-conference day in June 2007. This special event was devoted to sharing training on best assessment practices and was part of TCG's project titled, Building a National TEAM: Theatre Education Assessment Models. Helpful portions of the morning session from the TEAM pre-conference, affectionately called "Assessment 101", have been streamlined into an hour-long video presented by assessment expert, Robert Southworth.
