Statement		 Since 1975, Philadelphia Theatre Company, located in downtown Philadelphia, has premiered work for our region by living American playwrights that explore, contextualize and celebrate the complexities of the most pressing social and moral questions of our time. In doing so, we seek to unify audiences across lines of ethnicity, culture and race in appreciation of our common humanity as well as the vigor and beauty of the American dramatic voice. We also seek to remain a nurturing home to major artists, offering a supportive and enlightened environment to allow them to accomplish their best work.
