About the Premiere Production:

Artistic Statement

From Producing Director Barclay Goldsmith
The play was inspired by interviews of 134 migrant women in a Nogales, Mexico shelter in an effort to document the intersection of migration forces north to the Mexico/U.S. border with the counter forces of U.S. immgration policies. The play gives voice to these voiceless women, now 38% of border crossers and who face increasing dangers, often at the risk of their lives.
