2021 TCG Virtual Conference: Our Theatre Ecology
Part 1: May 13-14 | Part 2: May 20-21
Note: This registration option grants you access to the full TCG Virtual Conference, including activities from May 13-14 and May 20-21, 2021. If you are only able to attend one part of the event, please select that option on the registration landing page.
Join TCG in our 60th anniversary year at our second virtual conference, Our Theatre Ecology, in two parts: May 13-14 and May 20-21. Inspired by our new mission to lead for a just and thriving theatre ecology, we'll focus on three converging areas where ongoing crises are cracking open new possibilities for sweeping change: PANDEMIC RECOVERY, CLIMATE ACTION and SYSTEMIC ANTI-RACISM, while centering the needs and experiences of BIPOC in the theatre field. Part 1 will focus on knowledge-building and awareness-raising in these areas through various learning and connection opportunities, investigating together where our models have failed or saved us. For Part 2, we’ll build on that experience to gather tools toward identifying levers for change, making fundamental shifts in our practices, and sustaining large-scale transformation individually, institutionally, and as a theatre movement.
Please Note: This form includes optional demographic questions, representing three areas of identity: gender identity, race & ethnicity, and disability; as well as additional questions regarding income level, age range, and veteran status. We include these questions in our TCG Convening registration forms in order to more accurately understand who is represented at our events, even virtually, and to make it possible for us to more effectively practice inclusion and work toward equity. Because we know identity is more than a checkbox, in most cases we're providing open fields to give you freedom to identify as authentically as possible. Your information will be kept private, and used only by TCG as a means of improving our service to the field. If you have questions, please email Anne Ciarlone at email@example.com.
