Priya Parker Joins Plenary Lineup for TCG’s 2026 National Conference in San Juan
Theatre Communications Group is thrilled to announce that facilitator and best-selling author Priya Parker will join the plenary lineup for the 2026 National Conference: San Juan, taking place June 10–13, 2026 in San Juan under the theme: Pa’lante: People, Practice, Power
Known for her transformative work on how we gather, lead, and build community, Parker is the author of the acclaimed book The Art of Gathering and the forthcoming The Art of Fighting. Her work explores how intentional collective experiences can deepen connection, strengthen collaboration, and help communities navigate conflict with greater care and purpose.

Parker joins previously announced plenary speakers Quiara Alegría Hudes, the Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright of In the Heights and Water by the Spoonful, and legal scholar and social justice advocate Alan Jenkins. Together, this year’s plenary speakers will help frame conversations around storytelling, power, collective action, and the future of theatre and culture.
The 2026 National Conference will bring together theatre practitioners, artists, administrators, trustees, educators, and advocates from across the field for four days of plenaries, breakout sessions, affinity spaces, performances, and deep-dive TCG Labs focused on topics including advocacy, capitalization, care practices, and artificial intelligence.
To make attending more accessible, Early Bird registration pricing has been extended through Friday, May 8, 2026. This extension gives attendees additional time to secure the lowest available registration rates for NC26.
