World Theatre Day 2024

Each year on March 27, all theatres, individual artists, institutions, and audiences are invited to celebrate World Theatre Day! Every year, a renowned theatre artist of world stature is invited by the International Theatre Institute (ITI) Worldwide to craft an international message to mark the global occasion. This year's international message author is Jon Fosse. Additionally, TCG invites theatre artists to give U.S. messages to celebrate our theatre ecology. This year, Luis Alfaro authors the U.S. message and the U.S. Emergent Artist message is authored by Caitlin Nasema Cassidy.
